G	VILLAGE GREEN NEWS Barrington Park is Go Go Go! £145,000 Grant Funding Received! Contractor Appointed ! The Parish Council has received grant funding from Viridor, BAA Communities Trust and Essex Environmental Trust to complete the first phase of the village green (Barrington Park). This is tremendous news for the village and will allow us to carry out the landscaping to prepare the sports pitches, create the pathways, install the fencing and entrances, restore the pond and establish the nature and wildlife areas. After a rigorous tender process the landscaping contract has successfully been let to Hugh Pearl Ltd, of Essex. For a weekly progress report use the link on the home page. 	A charitable company, The HBO Village Green Company, has been established to manage the facility on behalf of the community. The parish council and the sports clubs will have director representation, however we also want wider villager representation.
